BRD under its social protection program concluded kitchen gardening training for 30 women Eastern provinces of Ningarahar.BRD is determined in promoting sustainable community development through pragmatic interventions.Cultural barriers and social insecurity limit the employment opportunity for Afghan women. Hence kitchen garden and Animal husbandry is a safe alternative for Afghan women to support their families.

Under Education Support Project for street, poor and vulnerable children, BRD has distributed stationery kits to 600 girls student in the primary schools. BRD under its culture heritage program completed damage assessment of culture heritage sites in Ghani and Ningarhar provinces of Afghanistan. 19 site (Stupas, Archaeological site, Historic Buildings) were found in need of repair/ protection.
